Rex Pugh will be honored with military graveside services Friday, Nov. 5, 2010,
at 10 a.m. at Gardens of Memory in Minden. Officiating will be the Rev. John
Cannon and the Rev. Leland Crawford. The family will receive friends from 5
until 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Rex was born Oct. 28, 1929, in Minden and entered into rest Oct. 31, 2010, in
Minden. He was a retired Lt. Commander from the United States Navy after 23
years of service.
His wife, Bobbie Rae Staples Pugh, preceded him in death.
He is survived by daughters, Cindy Waller and husband, Sammy of Minden, Lynn
Ritchie and husband, Jim of Minden; sisters, Mary Ellen Dean of Shreveport, Rene
Warren and husband, A.J. of Heflin; eight grandchildren; and seven
great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Clint Ritchie, Luke Ritchie, Wayne West, Kenny Balkom, Heath
Balkom, Lance Streetman, A.J. Swayze and Ben Abshire.
