King and Queen
Of
The Sweetheart Ball

From the 1953 Grig
Sammy Maxey, president of Student Council, crowns George Tash and Molly Ford
King and Queen of the "Sweetheart Ball" which was sponsored by the Council in 1953.
It would not surprise me to learn that Molly had the smallest waist line in the entire parish
when we were going to school. After graduation we roomed together for a while. She was a
lot of fun and so pretty.
All I know about George is that he was Beverly's cute little brother.

Sherry, thanks for all you do for us from MHS!!!!! I love seeing all
those pictures. One problem though---the picture of me as band
queen---that is not Raymond Anderson---he was never in the band. That is
Roy Lee Mobley ----Jeannine Mobley's brother.
Thanks again for all you do!!!!!
