JOE ELLIS - GROCERY

  Some time back I asked if anyone remembered a grocery store on
East Union just past Hollywood-Maxwell and no one responded.
    I found it in the 1940 phone book - Joe Ellis Grocery.  Some of us
would walk to that store from Hollywood-Maxwell on our lunch break.
