George Moore 8/2002; died of Alzheimers

                              Memorial services for George Berton Moore, 69, will be held in Independence,
                        Kansas. He was raised in Minden and after serving 10 years in the Air Force,
                        he settled in Selina, Kansas, with his wife, Dorothy Johnson Moore. He was
                        preceded in death by his wife; mother and father, Tom and Hazel Moore; brother,
                        Thomas Moore Jr; sisters, Ethel Moore Roberts, and Gloria Moore Curry. He is
                        survived by his sisters, Betty Lary, Helena Roberts, Lucy Quaid, Peggy Burge
                        and husband, one brother, Fred W. Moore and wife Barbara; and 17 nieces and
                        nephews. Son of Hazel and Thomas O. Moore, Sr. of Minden, La.
